Introduction
This website offers an introduction to the country of Jordan. It
includes detailed information and advice for the independent traveller,
and a description of the everyday life of some of the Bedouin and the
village people there, with stories and anecdotes from my personal
experiences illustrating the way that they live. I hope that you will
enjoy them, there are some more on the way.

is a general summary on the left here, but for a full
list of the material available in each section, it is
necessary to consult the section index, given in
capital letters on the navigation bar on the left or
from links on each page.
Comments and suggestions
I owe a big BIG thank you to Nadim al Twal who has designed the new
look for "Jordan Jubilee". He is a very successful graphic designer who
was kind enough to take the time to do this for us all. If anybody wants
to get in touch with him with a new commission I shall be more than
happy to pass on your message!
I hope that you
will send me an email if you have any comments on this
site, and especially if you find any gaps or false
information. Any suggestions about anything at all are
welcome, although I don't promise to act on them. I
