This is the History of Jordan section

This doesn't attempt to be a coherent history of Jordan. It is simply a collection of pages about subjects I find interesting and think other people might too. Coherent histories are easy to find in most of the guide books, and there are many long periods when nothing much at all happened in Jordan!
